Voice of the Divine Musician

His joy ran infinite, boundless, deep,

Playing with Light as a child's new toy,

In vision and miracle musiced with sound

And flew in the heavens of thought's solitude.

Endlessly frolicking in rapturous waves

On borders of worlds as yet hardly glimpsed,

Rhythms of earth-life throbbed in his feet,

But silence eluded, a prayer long-delayed.

A yearning vague, dispersed as in dream

His life he aspired for truth to found,

For peace intoned, on a soil supreme

Symphonic in God's solitude.

Stillness appeared melodious winged,

Organic harmonies burst forth

Swelling the symphony of his soul

To orchestrate his sanctioned path.

In an inner communion he visibly heard

A speech falling softly mid waking and sleep

A guide in still evening singing of light,

Its chant from the heights descended in streams:

"All sounds to thine ears My music shall be

My voice as the surging of waves shall hear,

Awaken to mornings and radiant eves

And walk on the pathways cut for my stars.

Time will not slay thee nor the ages deny;

Work shall ye know my Truth to enact,

On earth shall the drama and dance be unfurled,

Fulfilling the covenant's decree.

One with the essence flower that blooms

In the hushed stillness of the heart's space,

Ye shall know peace mid the whorl of the days,

Rest in my sunlight and sleep in my smile."
